You are the expert on your own life.
One of the greatest regrets that many people have is that they never became the person they wanted to be. Often, it’s not because they didn’t care—but because something kept getting in the way.
I’m passionate about helping people uncover their true potential and move beyond the barriers that are holding them back, whether those barriers involve addiction, trauma, betrayal, or patterns that feel out of control.
What it’s like to work with me…
Two realities to consider.
On the one hand, you know yourself better than anyone else. You are the expert on your own life. You know what goes on inside your head and heart. You know the mistakes you’ve made and the lessons you’ve learned. And often, you have a strong internal sense of when something is off—when you’re moving away from your needs, values, or goals.
On the other hand, when addiction or other out-of-control behaviors are present, your thinking may be shaped by patterns that protect you in the short term but keep you stuck in the long term. Minimizing, justifying, or compartmentalizing can make it very hard to see the next right step on your own.
That’s where I come in.
My role is not to take control of your life or tell you what to do. You are the one who has to live with your decisions. Instead, I bring clinical expertise, experience, and perspective—asking hard questions when needed, offering guidance and structure, and helping you slow things down enough to make thoughtful, grounded choices. Ultimately, you remain in control of the process.
I strive to be fully present in our sessions and comfortable with difficult emotions. When people feel genuinely cared for and not judged, they are better able to lower their defenses and talk about the painful, confusing, or frightening issues that need attention. My approach is trauma-informed, honest, and compassionate—supportive without being enabling, and direct without being shaming.
