Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act Information

Under federal law, health care providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or not using insurance with an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

As an out-of-network/private-pay practice, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care.

You are entitled to receive this estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled service. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service.

If you receive a bill that is substantially different from your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
